SHEBENIK STREHE

SKI-RESORT IN ALBANIA

This idea was born from a spark: there is no skiing in Albania! Shebenik National Park is located in the eastern part of the country and includes the Jablanica-Shebenik mountain ranges.

The main objective of the intervention is the sustainable development of the territory, the introduction of skiing in Albania, the construction of non-energy-intensive and reversible buildings, responsible consumption and production of jobs. The project develops in four phases which will follow the growth of the new resort: ski lifts and restaurant-bar; first beds in welcoming chalets; addition of suites in the main body for new beds; restaurant with observatory.
