RE NUDO
The project is divided into two buildings, one of which was completely demolished and rebuilt and the other, the oldest, was renovated with the maintenance of the original volume, typology, walls and frames.The two buildings were joined by a single stairwell with a contemporary shape and materials that are completely detached from the characteristics of the original one. The entrance route winds first through a garden on the ground floor where an old horse chestnut tree has been cared for and maintained and then onto a Roman "antiquarium".Overall, eighteen apartments of various types and sizes were created. The ground floor was partly used as commercial spaces, garages, cellars serving the homes and a small loft overlooking the ancient Roman road.
