WOODEN HOUSE
Design competition for the construction of a wooden residential house. Traditional achitectural situations, elements and materiality - such as pitched roof, wood, trellises and simple floorplan - blend with principles of contemporary architecture. The traditional shapes have not been denied, but welcomed and developed with attention and caution, adapting them to the needs of our times and to the desire not to give up geometries and balances of intense significance. The structure of the house is designed with X-LAM paneling. We like to think of a wooden house where the wood is not hidden and is integrated with the architecture of the building both internally and externally.
